Utlysning av fakultetsmedel för delfinansiering av ny doktorand. Handledaren söker medel för det projekt doktoranden ska vara verksam i. Utlysning sker två gånger per år och denna termin utlyses 60 ramanslag.
Sista ansökningsdag är den 12 september

Arvodesnivån för opponent vid disputation höjs till 10 000 kronor enligt beslut i Styrelsen för forskarutbildning. Den nya nivån för opponentarvode träder ikraft fr.o.m. 2011-07-01.
Bakgrunden till beslutet är att arvodesnivån för opponenter inte har höjts sedan 1999, att flera universitet och högskolor har höjt/planerar att höja sina nivåer och att arvodesnivåerna för sakkunniggranskning av läraranställningar vid KI har höjts.

Behörig att söka är registrerad doktorand vid KI eller forskare/gästforskare som bedriver forskning vid någon av KIs institutioner. Hög prioritet ges doktorander som har passerat halvtidskontrollen och söker medel för att besöka utländska institutioner för att lära sig nya metoder och/eller utföra samarbetsprojekt.
Tidsperiod för resa omfattar 1 oktober 2011 – 31 mars 2012.
Ansökningsperioden är 8-22 augusti.

The Board of Research at Karolinska Institutet hereby announces one (1) exchange position at the Rockefeller University for research, education and technical/resource staff. Funding will be granted by Nicholson Exchange Program.
Eligible to apply for short term staff exchange are: Faculty members, postdoctoral trainees, doctoral students, research assistants, and/or technical/resource center personnel currently working at the Karolinska Institutet
You are welcome to apply for 1 to 12 weeks exchange period.

Faculty funds for partial financing of new doctoral student. Supervisors apply for funding for the project that the student will be active in. Funding is announced once every semester, this announcement 60 applications will be granted.
Last day for application: September 12

The Board of Doctoral Education has decided on a new fee of 10 000 SEK from July 1, 2011 for the opponent. The reasons why the fee has increased are the following; the fee for opponent has not increased since 1999; several Universities has increased or plan to increase the fee; the fee for peer review of appointments for teachers and researchers has been increased.

Eligible to apply are registered doctoral students at Karolinska Institutet (KI) or scientists/visiting scientists conducting research at a department at KI. High priority is given to PhD students who have passed their half-time control and who apply for funds for visiting a foreign institution to study new methods and/or carry out cooperative research.
This application covers travel between October 1 2011 – March 31 2012.
